The new album is on its way

14th Jan 2010

About time too...Yes, finally after five years, Neil's eagerly awaited (at least by his Mum) first solo album is soon to be released and should be winging its way to your local music store by some time in 2024. It will be a collection of tunes that encompass the many musical styles and projects that Neil has been involved with over the years.

The album, entitled "Floccinaucinihilipilification", features some of the UK's finest musicians, including Chris Gumbley: saxes and keyboards, Clinton Beale: acoustic and electric guitars and fujooku, Dave Day: guitar, Lee McManus: guitar, Robin Jones: guitar, Neil Fraser: guitar, Ian Palmer: drums, Roy Adams: drums, Johnny Pugh: vocals, ViX: vocals, Gillie Nicholls: vocals, Tijhs Jordan: vocals, but mostly Neil on midi'd bass guitars playing everything else.

Floccinaucinihilipilification definition: The act or habit of describing or regarding something as unimportant. Often cited as the longest non-technical word in the English language, being one letter longer than the commonly-cited antidisestablishmentarianism.
